This is my first blog, so I thought I would write a little bit about myself and AskVerity. ENJOY!
I’ve worked in recruitment for coming up to 18 years this year and I’ve always loved it. I get such a thrill out of placing people in their dream jobs and finding my clients/hiring managers the right people for their businesses and teams.
Also during my recruitment career I’ve offered support and interview guidance to my candidates to help them prepare for interview day.
During 2022 I was approached by several friends who were looking for new jobs and asked for my assistance with their CV’s and interview coaching. The ability to help people always gives me a warm glow.
And suddenly I thought to myself there’s a gap in the market here for me to offer a purely tailored service to people to help get them ready to join the job market…………. The idea stayed with me, and after discussions with my support network and some trusted friends AskVerity was born!!

Helping to guide and offer suggestions to improve their current CV, create a CV from scratch or to provide interview coaching.
A lot of people haven’t entered the job market for a number of years and find this truly daunting! I want to help them feel at ease as much as possible and to give them the best chance of landing an interview and ultimately their dream job.
We spend so much time at work. It is a key part of our day to day lives, so I feel it’s super important that people are in a job they can enjoy and want to get up for Monday to Friday!!
I hope through AskVerity that I can give people the confidence that when they enter the job market they’re fully prepared and ready to give it their best shot 😊
Of course. I will use blogs to update you on the latest from AskVerity, job markets and trends, and lots and lots of other things. I’ve got tons of ideas of things to discuss with you!! Stay posted and I’ll keep posting!
